Welcome to Kesselmann Heating and Plumbing (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the basis on which we provide plumbing, heating, and related services (“Services”) to you, whether booked via our website, by phone, or in person.
By requesting or accepting our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Scope of Work
We will carry out the Services agreed with you in writing (quote, estimate, or order confirmation). Any changes to the scope must be agreed in writing and may affect the price and completion date.
3. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days from issue.
Prices include labour and materials unless otherwise stated.
Our standard payment schedule is:
50% deposit to secure the booking
25% upon delivery of materials to site
25% upon completion
Deposits are refundable unless we have already purchased materials or begun work.
4. Cancellations & Cooling-Off Period
Consumer rights
If you are a consumer (not a business customer), you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date you accept our quote or contract. During this time you may cancel for a full refund of any payments made, unless:
You have asked us to begin work within this period (see below).
Work starting within the cooling-off period
If you request work to start within the 14-day period:
You may still cancel before the work is completed, but you must pay for the proportion of work carried out and any materials purchased.
For emergency callouts, the cooling-off right ends once the work has been fully completed.
Other cancellations
We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule booked work. Cancellations with less notice may incur charges for labour time booked and/or materials already purchased.
5. Payment Terms
Payments are due on the agreed schedule.
We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods.
Late payments may be subject to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (for business customers) or reasonable costs for recovery (for consumers).
6. Access & Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
Ensure the work area is clear of personal belongings and hazards
Inform us of any known risks, asbestos, or hazardous materials before we start work
7. Liability & Warranties
We will carry out the Services with reasonable skill and care.
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, design defects, or issues caused by materials supplied by you.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded under UK law.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit or enjoyment.
8. Website Use

All content is owned by us and may not be copied without permission.
You must not use the site for unlawful purposes or introduce malicious code.

9. Complaints

10. Governing Law
